NamcoBandai's CyberConnect2, has unleashed a SLEW of games recently, regarding everyone's favorite chunin, jonin, sanin and kages, and has released them in quite heavy doses; most notably, the "Naruto: Ultimate Ninja" series. With the release of Ultimate Ninja 4 in America, it seems that US fans will get to see more Shippuuden for their money's worth. However, this will undoubtedly mean a slew of Shippuuden games, at least one being released every year and most likely with little plot change. The question now is: Do you want to see these games be produced in mass quantity, or would you rather have them slow down on game releases and give more quality than quantity, upon playing the games? I, personally think that NamcoBandai should focus on the handheld market, as opposed to simply making various console games at a time, and ever so often, they should release a good console game. It's a long process to make good console games, and making decent handheld games would take less time. However, releasing in mass to get money, without thinking through the process, is a somewhat incompetent move, though people seem to enjoy getting new things as quick as possible. This, however a good thing as it may seem, could lead to the downfall of a company, as people will always come to expect the same of their product. So here's a hint, do handhelds in rapid succession and console games in bi-yearly gaps.
